Nurses

We are seeking to recruit Registered Nurses to join their friendly team. Westerton is a custom-built care home, with a newly built extension, designed to the highest standard and has a host of luxurious features available to our residents. 

When it comes to our team we believe in the importance of choosing the best candidates who will provide the highest level of care available for each of our residents, at all times. 

The successful candidate must have good communication skills, be motivated to offer the highest standards of care and be able to undertake all appropriate aspects of nursing care required. 

Responsibilities will include assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care for specified residents to ensure continuity of care and to take management responsibility for a shift as directed. 

Applicants will be qualified RGN / RMN and will have a genuine interest in working with the elderly. Excellent communication skills are essential and applicants must be able to communicate effectively at all levels in English. Current NMC Registration is necessary and a PVG check also applies to this role. 

Experience in care for the elderly and previous supervisory experience would be advantageous for this role. 

The position is for a full-time Registered Nurse who is required to be flexible with work schedules - rotas are prepared in advance. A competitive rate of pay is available, which will be discussed in person.

Domestic Staff

We are currently seeking to recruit temporary, full time Domestic Staff to join our wonderful team.

Successful candidates will work as part of a team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the Care Home, whilst ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for all residents, at all times.

Required: Applicants should be a team player, with good communication skills, verbal and written. Satisfactory Police Check and PVG Check apply to this post.

Desired: Experience working with the elderly within a caring environment would be advantageous but is not essential for this role.

Full time temporary positions are available for this post with excellent rates of pay and a first-class working environment provided with a motivated and enthusiastic team.

Care Assistants 

We are currently seeking Full Time Care Assistants to join our team in providing the highest levels of care to our residents.

Your main responsibility will be to provide personal care for each resident, attending to their needs by recognising and facilitating the personal requirements of each resident. You’ll also be closely involved in the general activities of the home, and responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, staff members, and visitors. Your daily routine will be as varied as the needs of people you are looking after.

Applicants must have a genuine interest in working with elderly residents within a caring environment and a willingness to participate in Vocational Training Programmes would be ideal. Applicants should be able to communicate effectively and fluently at all levels and be comfortable working as part of a team. Experience is required for this post. Satisfactory Enhanced PVG checks apply to this role.

Senior Carers

We are currently seeking Senior Carers to join our team in providing the highest levels of care to our residents.

The successful candidate will become part of an experienced team in delivering this care. Your main responsibilities will be in the supervision and assistance of care assistants in providing personal care to the residents and attending to their daily needs, as well as ensuring that a high standard of care is delivered to residents.You’ll also play a big part in building relationships between staff and residents, and administering medicines as required, in accordance with policies and procedures.

Candidates are required to have an SVQ 3, medication administration training and previous experience within an elderly care environment. All applicants will be required to complete an enhanced PVG check.
