Registered Night Nurses | Pay Dependent on Experience 

We are seeking to recruit full-time and part-time Registered Nurses to join our friendly team in providing the highest levels of care to our residents.

Our Registered Nurses thrive working in this supportive environment due to their involvement with resident care and Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) input.  This vacancy offers training & development opportunities that meet revalidation requirements.

The successful candidate must have good communication skills, be motivated to offer the highest standards of care and be able to undertake all appropriate aspects of nursing care required. 

Responsibilities will include assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care for specified residents to ensure continuity of care and to take management responsibility for a shift as directed. 

Applicants will be qualified RGN/RMN and will have a genuine interest in working with the elderly. Excellent communication skills are essential and applicants must be able to communicate effectively at all levels in English. Current NMC Registration is necessary and a PVG check also applies to this role. Experience in care for the elderly and previous supervisory experience would be advantageous for this role. 

The rate of pay is dependent on experience and will be discussed in person.

Senior Carers | Full-Time and Part-Time | Day and Night Shifts

We are currently seeking Senior Carers to join our friendly team here at Westerton Care Home. Westerton is a custom-built care home, with a newly built extension, designed to the highest standard and has a host of luxurious features available to our residents. 

The position will be to take charge of the shift and guide staff to deliver excellent personal care to the residents' daily needs. Senior Care Practioners will also administer medicines, and undetake the re-ordering on a monthy basis, as required in accordance with policies and procedures, as well as assisting in building relationships between staff and residents.

The successful applicant will also be expected to develop person-centred care plans, complete and update assessments, review the care plans monthly and organise and hold reviews with the residents or family members.

Candidates are required to have an SVQ 3, medication administration training and previous experience within an elderly care environment. All applicants will be required to complete an enhanced PVG check.

Full and part-time positions are available for this post with excellent rates of pay, a first-class working environment, and a motivated and enthusiastic team.

Care Assistants | Full-Time and Part-Time | Day and Night Shifts

The successful candidate will become part of an experienced team in delivering this care, Your main responsibilities will be providing personal care to the residents and attending to their daily needs. You'll also play a big part in building relationships between staff and residents, and administering medicines as required, in accordance with policies and procedures.

Admin Assistant | Full-Time 

We are currently recruiting for an Admin Assistant to join our friendly team here at Westerton Care Home.

The successful applicant will be friendly and an efficient multi-tasker. Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint is required for this role. Key responsibilities will include payroll, recruitment, working with potential clients, administration work, minute taking and liaising with the care home manager.

The position is full-time and offers excellent rates of pay coupled with being part of a fast-paced, motivated, enthusiastic and teamwork led environment.

Kitchen Assistant | Full-Time 

We are seeking to recruit a Full-Time Kitchen Assistant to join our team.

The position will involve assisting the Chef in organising and controlling the efficient and economic production of quality food within the allowed budget, whilst maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in line with EHO regulations.

A Basic Food/Hygiene certificate is required. Good communication skills, verbal and written, as well as good team skills, are necessary for this role. Ability to work on own initiative is also essential. A satisfactory PVG check applies to this position.

Experience in food preparation for elderly clients is desired but not essential.

Domestic & Laundry Assistants| Full-Time 

We are looking to recruit Full Time Domestic and Laundry Assistants to join our team.

Successful candidates will work as part of a team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness of linen, towels and residents’ personal clothing, and to ensure an adequate supply of these items at all time. Successful applicants will also work as part of a team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the Care Home, whilst ensuring a safe, comfortable environment at all times.

Experience working with an elderly care environment would be advantageous but is not essential for this role.
