What is Residential Care?
Residential care is an excellent option for someone who can no longer live alone with ease. Some people prefer to live in a residential care facility because it provides them with security, social interaction, and continual assistance. Residents can enjoy the benefits of group living alongside individuals with similar interests without the hassle of sustaining a household.
Residential care attempts to improve people’s overall well-being and social lives. We believe in providing more than just basic care for our residents; by encouraging both physical and mental stimulation will enable residents to thrive. Our mission is to provide the finest possible quality of life for all of our residents.
The Residential Care We Provide at Westerton Care Home
We spend significant time with each new resident and their family prior to their arrival to establish a unique, tailored care plan. If your care needs change over time, our professional and compassionate team can assist you and customise your care plan when it’s time.
Residents receiving residential care will continue to be assisted with daily duties to help them get through the day with maximum ease and minimal disruption. Our around-the-clock care will guarantee a quiet and relaxing time for residents, free to focus on finding joy in the small things, from aiding with personal hygiene to enjoying mealtimes.
Who is Residential Care Suitable For?
Residential care is suitable for individuals who need a little extra help now and then in order for them to keep doing the everyday activities they love.
Residential care may be the best option if you or a loved one is finding it difficult to live alone, or if living alone is beginning to have a negative influence on mental or physical health. Residential care, sometimes known as ‘group living arrangements,’ can make a major difference in the day-to-day lives of anyone who requires some assistance with regular duties.

“As a family, we cannot praise or thank Westerton and all the lovely staff there enough. I hope they read the reviews too and not just families looking to place their loved ones somewhere safe and special. We’ve certainly found somewhere amazing for mum, she tells the staff she loves them and she means it.” Review from Paul O (Son of Resident), via carehome.co.uk.
