Residential Care

If you are unable to live alone, residential care is a suitable option for you. Some older people prefer to live in a residential care facility because it provides them with daily security, social interaction, and support. Residents can reap the benefits of living with others while avoiding the challenges of home ownership.

This type of care can improve a person’s social and emotional well-being. We believe that providing our residents with more than just basic care will enable them to thrive by providing both physical and mental stimulation. Our mission is to provide the highest possible quality of life for all of our residents.

Nursing Care

Nursing care is a suitable option for residents who require medical and personal care 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This is particularly the best option for someone who has a physical disability or who needs extensive around-the-clock care; it is also the ideal option for individuals with long-term health conditions.

Residents of our nursing home receive complete care and support from our experienced nursing team at all hours of the day and night, providing reassurance for those who require ongoing care due to a serious illness or health condition.

Dementia Care

Our team has many years of experience working with individuals who live with dementia at varying stages. When it comes to dementia care, there is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all approach, which is why our care plans at our home are completely tailored to each individual.

Our Activities Team works hard to provide dementia-friendly activities and support that provides those living with dementia to live in a comfortable and enriching environment where they can thrive, utilise their strengths and explore their interests.

Respite Care

Respite Care is an excellent care choice for anyone who requires a break from daily life, whether that’s from being a carer or recently recovering from an injury or illness. Our stay at our home promises a relaxing time while all of your needs are catered for by our compassionate team.

Respite Care is also a great option for someone who is considering moving to our home full-time, but is hesitant on committing to the permanent move, therefore a short-term trial stay is available. Our home is easily accessible for visitors to pop in and see loved ones at any time of day.

We Are Here For You

It can be difficult to know how to find the most suitable care facility for you or a loved one. Determining which level of care someone requires can also be difficult. Our qualified staff at Westerton Care Home consults with residents and their families to decide on an appropriate strategy. This is accomplished by analysing the residents’ requirements and learning about their likes, dislikes, and abilities in order to develop a care plan solely created for their needs.
