Special Valentine’s Messages
The Activities Coordinators here at Westerton couldn't wait to decorate our home for Valentine's Day. The foyer looked simply stunning with red heart-shaped banners, balloons, roses and other Valentine's decorations ready to be seen by everyone who enters.
We were delighted to invite local singers to our home on 14th February who sang some classic love songs while residents enjoyed the ambience and ate some delicious Valentine's treats.
Our residents also wrote heartfelt messages to their loved ones to show their love and appreciation for their chosen person.
The following messages are written by a couple of our residents:
"To my Wife,
Never forget that I love you. Sometimes it's hard to find the words to tell you how much you mean to me. If I did anything right in my life it was when I gave my heart to you. You are my best friend, my soul mate, my everything. I love you forever and always.
Your Husband."
Another resident wrote:
"To my Son Graham,
Roses are red, violets are blue, you're my best friend and I love you.
Your Mum. xxx"
A big well done to everyone who participated, we just know that these lovely messages meant so much to the recipients.
