Music Brings Western Care Home Together

Residents at Western Care Home came together once again to socialise and join in with our activity coordinators, which resulted in plenty of dancing, lots of singing and even more laughs.
Music continues to play an important part in our activities at Western Care Home. Residents recently came together to share their favourite songs, listen to classics, play along with instruments, and more importantly, enjoy the simple things in life. From tapping toes to singing along to well-loved tunes, everyone had the opportunity to get involved in their own way.

Our Activity Coordinator works tirelessly to promote the well-being of our residents while ensuring they remain entertained, active and excited about their day. Through a wide range of engaging activities, they create opportunities for residents to socialise, stay active, explore their interests and make wonderful memories together.
At Western Care Home, we believe that music is a wonderful way to encourage conversations between residents, support emotional wellbeing, and bring back fond memories from years that have gone by. A familiar song can often spark a story, remind someone of a special moment or bring a smile to their face.
There were plenty of smiles and lots of singing throughout the day. It was fantastic to see everyone getting involved and enjoying the atmosphere. The fun doesn't stop there, we are excited to get the instruments back out and see where our next musical afternoon takes us!
